Obserc — Beta Terms of Service
Last updated: August 8, 2025
Welcome to the Obserc Beta Program. These Terms of Service govern your participation in the Obserc Beta Program and your use of Obserc beta builds and devices (collectively “Beta Services”). By participating, you agree to these terms, which outline your responsibilities, our obligations, and the legal framework for the Beta Program.
Acceptance of Terms
By accepting an Auth Code and installing a beta build, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not participate in the Beta Program. These terms supplement any other agreements you may have with Obserc.
Eligibility
To participate in the Beta Program, you must be at least 16 years old and have the legal capacity to enter into these terms. If you are participating on behalf of an organization, you must have the authority to bind that organization.
Beta Program Participation
The Beta Program allows you to test pre-release versions of Obserc’s AI-powered personal safety system. As a beta tester, you agree to:
- Use the Beta Services only for testing and providing feedback to Obserc.
- Not share or disclose beta builds, Auth Codes, or confidential information to third parties without permission.
- Provide accurate and constructive feedback through designated channels.
- Acknowledge that Beta Services are experimental and may contain bugs or errors.
License to Use Beta Services
Obserc grants you a non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Beta Services solely for testing purposes during the Beta Program. You may not modify, reverse-engineer, or distribute the Beta Services.
Intellectual Property
All intellectual property rights in the Beta Services, including software, designs, and documentation, remain with Obserc. Feedback you provide may be used by Obserc to improve the product, and you grant Obserc a perpetual, royalty-free license to use such feedback.
Confidentiality
The Beta Services and any information provided by Obserc during the Beta Program are confidential. You agree not to disclose any details about the Beta Services to third parties without prior written consent from Obserc.
Termination
Obserc may terminate your participation in the Beta Program at any time, with or without cause. You may also withdraw by uninstalling the beta app and contacting support@obserc.com to revoke your Auth Code.
Limitation of Liability
The Beta Services are provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. Obserc is not liable for any damages arising from your use of the Beta Services, including data loss, device damage, or personal injury, to the extent permitted by law.
Governing Law
These Terms of Service are governed by the laws of the country in which Obserc is domiciled for operational purposes. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of that jurisdiction, subject to applicable local laws.
Changes to Terms
Obserc may update these Terms of Service as needed. Material changes will be communicated via this page or through Beta Program communications. Continued participation after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
